Overview:Brazilian master turntablist Roger was born in Sao Paulo and began his career when he was mere 15 years old, playing bad ass disco classics for the developing local scene. Since relocating to Japan, Roger moved to the club dancefloor gracing the decks of his local brazilian nightclubs such as B1 playing side DJ Marcelo Noya. In the 2001, Roger started at the famous Zoom disco club before moving on to the japanese national scene. Since making his debut nationally, Roger has hooked up with premier japanese promoters Protocol. Protocol have helped push Roger into premier venues such as: - Pasha Club - Luners - Orbient - Club Air - A Life - Spiral -Zepp Tokyo - Velfarre And the legendary Womb, having the great fortune to play with Japanese greats such as Taka, Tsuyoshi, Monobe and Shinkawa as well as international superstars such as Nick Sentience, Simon Eve, BK, Jeff Mills, Johnny Vicious, Ed Real, Stephane K, Phill Reynolds, Judge Jules and Ferry Corsten. In the 2003 and 2004 Roger had special appereances at the famous psychedelic events in Japan called Vision Quest, recentely Roger did play at The Gathering for more than 10.000 people on the most famous Trance Festival in Japanplaying as side with Skazi,Shanti,Dino,Sancar,Infected Mushroom,Black & White,Space Cat, Alien vs The Cat, Dali, Melicia, Astral Projection, Astrix,Psycraft,Sub 6, Xerox & Illumination, John OO Fleming, Alternative Control,Ami,Oforia and others. Since May 2004 Dj Roger playing once a month at the legendary Velfarre, sharing the vibe with the king of the after hours, DJ John Robinson.
